On April 24th, the fourth meeting of the seventh council of the Titanium Zirconium Hafnium Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association was held in Xichang, Sichuan. The meeting summarized the work of the branch over the past year and the progress of the titanium zirconium hafnium industry, and proposed key work arrangements for the next year, emphasizing the need to comprehensively promote the green and healthy development of the titanium zirconium hafnium industry.

Wang Demin, Deputy Director of the Rare Earth Department of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, and Lei Rangqi, President of the Titanium Zirconium Hafnium Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, attended the meeting. Chang'an Zhongsheng, Vice President and Secretary General of the Titanium Zirconium Hafnium Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, presided over the meeting.

In the 2023 work report of the Titanium Zirconium Hafnium Branch, Lei Rangqi briefly introduced the basic operation of China's titanium zirconium hafnium industry, comprehensively elaborated on the development characteristics, achievements, problems and challenges faced by the titanium zirconium hafnium industry, sorted out the progress of the 2023 branch work, and arranged and deployed the work of the 2024 branch.

The attending representatives reviewed and approved documents such as the 2023 work report and membership fee income and expenditure report of the Titanium Zirconium Hafnium Branch Council, the resolution of the fourth meeting of the seventh council of the Titanium Zirconium Hafnium Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association on supplementing the members of the seventh council, the approval on adjusting the candidates for the seventh council leader of the Titanium Zirconium Hafnium Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, and the approval on supplementing the candidates for the seventh council leader of the Titanium Zirconium Hafnium Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association.

The meeting reviewed and added Bai Chunguang, Chairman of Zhongke Ruijin (Shandong) Titanium Industry Technology Co., Ltd., Zhao Jun, Deputy General Manager of Shenyang Foundry Research Institute Co., Ltd. of China Machinery Academy Group, Zhu Wei, Chairman of Jiangsu Kangrui New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., Wang Wensheng, Chairman and General Manager of Shaanxi Titanium Valley New Materials Industry Development (Group) Co., Ltd., Yu Xianqun, General Manager of Shaanxi Maosong Science and Technology Innovation Co., Ltd., Wang Wei, Executive Deputy General Manager of Chengde Tianda Vanadium Industry Co., Ltd., and Zhong Minglong, Chairman of Shenzhen Zhonghafnium Technology Group Co., Ltd. as directors; The resolution states that Wu Jiang, General Manager of Jiangxi Jing'an High tech Co., Ltd., will replace Huang Guiwen, Zhao Da, Executive Vice General Manager of Chaoyang Jinda Titanium Industry Co., Ltd., will replace Wang Jixian, and Peng Dan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Hunan Xiangtou Jintian Technology Group Co., Ltd., will replace Li Xinluo as a director and vice chairman; Add Wang Wensheng as Vice President; Zhang Pingxiang, academician of the CAE Member, was appointed as the consultant of the 7th Council; Appoint Li Guangqin, Executive Vice President of Baoji Titanium Industry Association and Director of Baoti Group Titanium Industry Alliance Office, and Yang Baoxiang, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of Panzhihua Vanadium Titanium Industry Association and Deputy Secretary General of Sichuan Vanadium Titanium Steel Industry Association, as the Deputy Secretary General of the 7th Council; Zhao Wei is appointed as the Director of the Information Department of the Secretariat of the Titanium Zirconium Hafnium Branch.

The meeting fully listened to the opinions and suggestions of various governing units on the current development trends, market environment, policy support demands, technological breakthroughs, and problems faced by enterprises in the titanium zirconium hafnium industry, and discussed the continuous optimization and improvement of the sub committee's work.

Lei Rangqi congratulated the newly elected directors and vice presidents. He pointed out that the Titanium Zirconium Hafnium Branch will continue to do a good job in the "three services" work, especially in the new economic environment and industrial situation, actively provide suggestions and recommendations, and implement the overall goals of the Nonferrous Metals Association as a "home of non-ferrous metals" and a "world-class industry association with regional influence", providing scientific and effective consulting services for member units, and providing strong guarantees for comprehensively enhancing the international competitiveness of the titanium zirconium hafnium industry.

More than 60 people attended the meeting, including the heads of relevant departments and offices of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, representatives of vice chairman units and council units of the Titanium Zirconium Hafnium Branch.
